Available Lectora Training Classes
Lectora Fundamentals Training Class
Learn the basics of Lectora, including an introduction to many of the menus within the application and the various object properties. In this one-day instructor-led Lectora Fundamentals class, you’ll learn to build an elearning course from scratch consisting of chapters, sections, pages, and a graded test. Include a variety of media within your title to engage learners and learn how to create basic actions (such as rollovers), navigation, customized buttons, and various question types. You will also learn how to publish a title to ReviewLink, a free online review tool, and to HTML for access via the Web. Through hands-on exercises, you will experience best practices that apply to real projects right away.

Lectora Intermediate Training Class
This class goes above and beyond the basic uses of Lectora, focusing primarily on the use of variables and conditional actions within a title. In this Lectora Intermediate class, you’ll learn how to take your Lectora knowledge to the next level. In this one-day instructor-led class you’ll use variables to track user interactivity, display both generic and user information, and conditionally branch within a title. Finally, you’ll learn how to publish a title to AICC/SCORM, for use within a learning management system.

​Lectora Advanced Training Class
This Lectora Advanced class focuses on advanced uses of objects, variables, and conditional action groups to create sophisticated elearning content and games. You will learn how to build on existing knowledge and experience and combine seemingly unrelated functionality in advanced ways, including:

Using user-defined variables and random value variables to create complex conditional actions

Creating action groups to perform multiple actions and repetitive sequences needed for gaming logic

Using non-typical combinations of tests and questions to create instructional review games
Before taking the Lectora Advanced class, you should have a solid understanding of:

Actions (e.g., triggers, actions, sequencing, delays)

Questions (e.g., choices, properties, point values, feedback)

Tests (e.g., test properties, behavior, results)
Additionally, you should have some experience with user-defined variables and conditional actions.

Lectora Accessibility - Section 508 and WCAG Compliance Trainign Class
Accessible e-learning is not only important to government agencies, it is becoming a vital aspect of a well-rounded diversity strategy for corporations and education institutions. In addition to Section 508 compliance as mandated by the US government, this Lectora Accessibility class also covers the WCAG standard for web content accessibility that meets the needs of individuals, organizations, and governments internationally. In this class, you will learn about the standards, how they relate to each other, and how they relate to your accessibility strategy. You will also leverage the Lectora features and development best practices to design, develop, and test your elearning courses for compliance. The goal is to produce accessible courses that are robust, interactive, and media-rich.
